Hey everyone, time for a new MOC video!!! This is of my Halo M274 Ultra-Light All-Terrain Vehicle, or, more commonly known as, the Mongoose. This tiny vehicle is the smallest in the U.N.S.C. armoury, and is, in my opinion, the most fun to drive when just screwing around on multiplayer. (Quick note: Even though the name mentions 'All-Terrain', it can't really go all terrains, I've tried. It can't swim, it'll explode, and it doesn't fly either, it'll just explode when you hit the ground.)

However, because it's an ATV, there, really wasn't any space for guns, unlike the Warthog, but the cool thing is that if you can get to someone to ride on the back, and they are on the SAME team as you, they will sit on the back and gun for you. (Another quick note: don't try to pick up someone on a different team when you are on a Mongoose. because the vehicle is so small, they only have an option to hijack, and once they do this, they will probably drive off with it.)

If you ever get an opportunity to drive a Mongoose in Halo, take it. The fact so fun to drive, and the high speeds it can drive at, you will have a great time... unless you get hit by a rocket.

There are two flaws I found with this vehicle, there isn't a gun on it, so you have to use your own weapons, and the armour is paper-thin. You can destroy one with roughly a clips worth of bullets from a magnum.

The MOC however is of very good design. It has front and back wheel steering, so that it actually can steer, it is sightly oversized, but not by too much, it easily seats 1 minifigure with room for another one on the back, and when you roll it, like you would with a toy car, it gets pretty decent distance.

A little off topic...

I will admit, this post has nothing to do with Lego whatsoever, but I thought it was worth posting.

Lego Star Wars Orto Plutonian Republic outpost MOC

Here is my MOC of a Lego Star Wars outpost, based on Orto Plutonia (the snow planet inhabited by Talz and Pantorans).

The entire base is designed to be built into the side of a cliff, and is, typically, under assault by the Separatist forces. This MOC also features a smaller MOC used in it, my custom AV-7 Artillery Cannon MOC.

Update 1

Hey everyone

Just a quick post to let you know what to look out for in the near future.

1. I am making more Halo MOCs, this time though using actual bricks, and not on Lego Digital Designer. The minifigs will also have custom decals, some of which their decals are still being made.

2. I might start a new Blog based on Wizard 101, as I have found myself playing that a lot.

Lego Halo Warthog MOC

Hello viewing audience.

I know it has been a while since I last posted anything, so I thought I might start making posts on my new Lego Halo MOCs, in celebration of Halo's ten year anniversary.

The Warthog (or M12 Force Application vehicle), is effectively an indestructible Jeep with a giant machine gun mounted of the rear. The Warthog is the most reliable vehicle in the U.N.S.C.'s arsenal, and by far the most vesitile. There are many different alterations to the "Hog", including modifications for anti-infantry, anti-vehicle, infantry transport, medical assistance and reconnaissance. The three core models are as follows:

-LRV (Light Reconnaissance Vehicle [Warthog]) with an M41 12.7mm LAAG

-LAAV-G (Light Anti-Armour Vehicle-Gauss [Gausshog]) with an M68 25mm ALIM

-LAAV-R (Light Anti-Armour Vechile-Rocket[Rockethog]) with an M79 65mm MLRS

All in all, the Warthog is by far the most appreciated Vehicle in the U.N.S.C. armoury.

So, without further ado, here is my Lego Warthog.

 This is the overall look of my Warthog. You will notice that this is my LRV modification, however I do have a Gauss Cannon that can be exchanged with the M41 to modify the Hog into an LAAV-G. The key aspect that was very important to me is that is was to a decent scale, so that when I did place my U.N.S.C. infantry inside it, they didn't look too small or too large.

Note: the white stripe was unintended. I couldn't find any plates large enough to build the warthog in the right colour

 Here is the front of the Warthog, with the headlights, the functioning winch and the bars to connect the winch to the rest of the Hog. 

 A head on view of the Hog. I know there is a window where the windscreen should be. I couldn't find a piece that fitted the Windscreen frame of the Warthog, but I think the result was still okay.

 Here is a photo of the Warthog's M41 automatic turret. Speaks for itself really...

 Here is the passenger, a white Spartan wielding a U.N.S.C. Grenade Launcher. He may look like his is waving in this photo, but my intended purpose was to make him look like he was grasping the roll-cage.

Finally, the rear bumper and break lights.

This is my review of Evo 2.0 from the Hero Factory 2.0 series. He was a new hero introduced to the Hero Factory, along side Nex. These two heros are best friends, but they couldn't be any more opposite. While Nex is nearly always talking and is nearly always moving, Evo will only talk or move when needed. when he is not needed, he can be found meditating.

Evo utilises yellow armour with purple highlights, and proudly carries the authority of the Heavy Artillery specialist.
